Ram Ghat is the holiest ghat in Ujjain on the bank of river Shipra. It is believed that Lord Rama bathed here during his exile. The ghat is the primary venue for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela held every 12 years. The daily evening aarti performed here attracts hundreds of devotees and tourists.
