Sacred banyan tree - One of the Panch Vat

Siddhavat is a sacred spot on the banks of river Shipra, revered as one of the five holy banyan trees (Panch Vat) in Hinduism. It is believed that Goddess Parvati performed penance here under this banyan tree to attain Lord Shiva. The site is particularly important for performing Pind Daan (rituals for ancestors) and is considered equivalent to Prayag for such ceremonies.
